Service Description:
|
A volunteer student support service run entirely by students, for students
- not healthcare professionals, call 911 for all emergencies
- Students can message the social media accounts
- Responders’ are anonymous, and their role is to provide support and refer students to other resources
- Responders are trained by the Canadian Mental Health Association in "Mental Health First Aid, Interacting with Youth"
