Service Description: The Network is located on the Treaty Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, and the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe Nation, Huron Wendat and the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. We also acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis, Inuit and other global Indigenous peoples who now call Peel Region their home * provides services and support to the Aboriginal community in the Region of Peel

Justice services:
  • Indigenous Courtworker Program
  • Gladue Programs (Gladue Writer’s goal is to write and submit a Gladue report to provide information to the court for sentencing purposes regarding the life circumstances of an Indigenous offender and provides case management to ensure the clients are meeting the needs of their sentencing conditions)

Child and Family Services:
  • Wasa-Nabin (is grounded in cultural traditions providing a sense of belonging for urban Indigenous children and youth ages 13 – 18)
  • Journey Together: Indigenous Child & Family Outreach

Healing and Wellness Services:
  • Cultural Resource Coordinator
  • Urban Aboriginal Healthy Living
  • Indigenous Wholistic Mental Wellness
  • Kizhaay Anishinaabe Niin Program (was developed to engage Indigenous men and youth in ending violence against Indigenous women)
  • Tin Pantry (in collaboration with the Mississauga Food Bank to provide 7-10 days worth of food, one visit per month * Mon-Fri 10am-5:30 pm)
