Service Description: A food bank and community outreach centre located in and serving South Mississauga within the postal codes L5E, L5G, L5H and L5J

Food bank * 2-3 days of food for family each week * canned food, dry foods, fresh produce, dairy, eggs, a selection of frozen food including meat, halal options also available

Other services include:
  • Bloom clinic (harm reduction clinic offering education and testing for Hepatitis A, B, C, and STIs)
  • Family Services of Peel: provides general employment information, job search strategies and interview techniques
  • housing support (assist with housing support, housing navigation and resources)
  • Services and Housing in the Province (SHIP): assistance for people with mental health and addiction issues who are in need of supportive housing
  • Peel Addiction Assessment and Referral Centre (PAARC): services and supports for people living with substance use, substance dependence and harmful gambling
  • Regeneration ID Clinic (assists with replacement of birth certificates, Canadian citizenship or permanent resident cards)
  • men's group
  • women's group
  • legal services (free consultation and referrals)
  • psychotherapy services
  • nursing services: community nurse provides medical attention onsite and service navigation
  • tax clinic
  • applications and information regarding Ontario Works, ODSP, CPP, OAS, CDCP
  • community lunch and special dinner events (an opportunity for social interaction)
  • back to school supplies for kids
  • kids summer camps
  • winter support program (for Compass clients experiencing homelessness)
  • chaplain services: offers non-denominational, private time with a chaplain to share spiritual concerns

Application: Visit at least 30 mins before closing to select your foot * bring ID for each family member showing the address
Eligibility / Target Population: People in need living in South Mississauga in area codes: L5E, L5G, L5H or L5J, and meet the initial eligibility criteria
