Service Description: A peer support group for individuals and their families who are affected by a mood disorder and whose main purpose is to gain a better understanding of the illness, to offer non-judgmental support and to share experiences

Focus of monthly meetings is wellness through education and sharing:
  • guest speakers include individuals who live with a mood disorder, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, specialists in nutrition and relaxation, and community partners
  • video presentations by medical specialists or professional documentaries
  • open discussions
  • no registration or membership required
  • all those affected by a mood disorder are welcome, including family and friends supporting someone with a mood disorder
