Service Description: Emergency food bank and food distribution centre * food allowance based on family size
We have two locations: the original Battleford client centre in the basment of Eden United Church in Meadowvale and our main location at Unity client centre, Learning Kitchen and warehouse on Unity Drive near Winston Churchill and the 403.

Fees: None
Application: First time users of the Food Bank need to bring with them:
• Proof of address (driver’s license, etc)
• Proof of your total monthly family income
• Proof of your rental and utility costs (lease agreement, cancelled cheque, passbook, etc)

Guidelines for Members
• If you have been to the food bank before, remember to bring your Food Bank Member Card with you
• If, for any reason, someone else has to pick up your food, be sure that person has both your Member Card and a letter signed by you
• If at any time you are out of food and you have already had your monthly pick-up, come in and speak to one of the coordinators, who will try to give you an emergency supply, if food is available
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: You must qualify to use the food bank by living in our service area (western Mississauga) and demonstrating a financial need.
