Service Description: Offers various programs and peer support groups:

Public Education Services:
  • courses, workshops, displays and presentations on a variety of mental health issues
  • community mental health promotion
  • workplace mental health promotion

Support Coordination:
  • one to one support for individuals living with serious mental illness * increasing coping skills * goal setting * planning * supportive counseling * education * advocacy * increasing quality of life including personal and social functioning * accessing community resources

Community Concurrent Disorders Program:
  • one to one support for individuals living with serious mental illness and addiction issues * increasing coping skills * goal setting * planning * supportive listening * education * advocacy * increasing quality of life including personal and social functioning * accessing community resources

Dual Diagnosis Program:
  • providing people with a dual diagnosis (mental illness and developmental disability) with opportunities for social interaction, learning new skills, encouragement of mental stimulation and physical well-being * participants must be referred and accepted into the program

Justice Services:
  • providing assistance and court support services for people who have a mental health/addiction concern are are involved in the criminal justice system
